Discovery the property of a 60-year-old medication in the treatment of cancers

Researchers recently found that a 60-year-old medication is effective for the treatment of some cancers. This medication is produced in the 1940s and more recently researchers have found that can be deadly and useful for the treatment of some certain cancers. Scientists at Cancer Research in London found that: methotrexate with name of HNPCC is a chemotherapy medication that is capable of coping with a genetic disease. This genetic failure plays a role in the development of many types of colon cancers and is also get human at risk for other cancers. Research has shown: 5% of patients with colon cancer had HNPCC flawed, and about half of them also had a second defect called MSH2. Studies have shown that methotrexate, can act highly successful especially in the destruction of carrying the MSH2 failure cells, and as they said, it can be a wonderful treat for some cancers.
